Ok, it was only a small point about where to post.

There are many unanswered questions in the support forums, which is exactly the reason why the support ticket system should be used. That way you can eventually get your issue(s) resolved.

Yes forum support is available as well and many forum members (including the support team) post replies. However as you point out many posts go unanswered. My understanding is that if you want support from a company you raise a support ticket, especially if you cannot find the answers in the forums.

I have had support issues myself and personally found the best way to resolve was via a support ticket, rather than the forums. A matter of individual choice, but just sharing my experience.

I agree that a support manual of some sort would be a good idea.

Well some good news and some absolutly shocking news, I think I'll post this seperate as well to make sure non pro members can see it.

OK some of the problems I fixed myself, the forums have been a good help despite being hard to navigate and find what I'm looking for sometimes.

Right I supplied FTP details to one of the support team after contact via the ticket system. They fixed the poll problem.

But in the process ruined the bug fixes I applied amongest other things, here is what they ruined:

+ Over wrote my template - meaning I had to modify all my templates again, thank god most of it was images and I had a back up of those. so site only ruined in this aspect for a day.

+ No categories now showing on the front page, it shows as root. - UPDATE - I checked the DB, and the noticed a difference for the root category, so simply re-wrote it with a previous back-up and now it seems to be working fine. but the question is what the hell caused this problem??????????????

+ cannot edit root in admin.

+ html on first page of site is no longer formated and shows html tags again.

+ Free listing has disapeared again, only just noticed this one, after many complaints from submitters.

Should this not really be a beta script, so many major bugs. I'm happy to test future beta's before release to try and prevent such a release again.

Apparently the fix for the poll problem was to re-upload the template.
