Need help installing script;
Executing SQL structure...could not select database 'buddy' Unknown database 'buddy'
was error message.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Lee, welcome to our support forums
Make sure you use correct database credentials. It is possible some prefix added for your database name and database username. It is often done when you create database in CPanel

I changed a lot of information on installing, including changing
database.
Deleted install file, and continued to 404 error message.

I will try instructions below, where do I locate file/folder RewriteBase/ ?

If you installed the script in the root folder add the following directive right under RewriteEngine On:

RewriteBase /

On the other hand, if you installed the script into some folder you have to add the following directive:

RewriteBase /directory/

You need to find .htaccess file in the directory where script is installed.

it can be found in esyndicat root directory. It has hidden attribute so it's possible you can not see it when you unpacked your files. The file does present in our archive file so you should check if it's uploaded to your server.
