Bootstrap integration
Greetings,
As you probably know eSyndiCat script will use bootstrap in its new version. Currently we are working on our templates and plugins to convert them to bootstrap. Meanwhile you can check it here: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/ It's a really great framework that helps organize your styles. |

If someone wanted to create some custom templates to sell, should we wait until you implement bootstrap?

Hi Greg,
No need for that. The software can be still compatible with the old style templates. Anyway, we do recommend to check bootstrap - they make template coding easier as they already have classnames and styles for main common elements like forms, buttons, layout, tables, tabs, etc. |

Greetings,
No, our 3.0 version will be bootstrap based. Anyhow, bootstrap is also included in the current version so you can use its files for your templates. Here is the example of a template coding using bootstrap implemented in another project from our team: Open Source CMS

What is your plan for 3.0? Will it be hard to uppgrade from the older version?

Hi,
Unfortunately there is no easy mechanism to upgrade the system if you have custom modifications in the default files. Upgrade will be easy if you don't have any mods at all. At least we will try to make it as easy as possible. But I can say for sure - templates will not be compatible  ( Our default class names will be different and the php code will produce a bit different html code
