Can different forms of Captcha be used?

Can other forms of Captcha be used instead of the one shown when registering for accounts?

You can pick the amount of characters via admin cp i set mine to 3

Do you see any increase in spammers/bots when you only use 3 characters? I was worried about my clients being discouraged with the defaults (I was even having problems with it that way).

My sites not live yet but if a robot can read 3 letters it can read 5 IMO

Hi,
Currently we have one default captcha. AFAIK it has rather many options and you can configure it according to your needs.

Some of settings do not exist in admin panel but you can modify them manually. Edit this file:
includes/kcaptcha_config.php
