Does anyone know the line for the cron setting

I have tried what I think was right but nothing works

Hi Stevan,

the cron.php file for v 2.4 is in the root and not in the /includes folder which is stated in other posts. You could try:
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null -q http://www.yourdomain.com/cron.php

Has to be /usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null -q http://www.yourdomain.com/folder name/includes/cron.php

On the new free one the cron is in the includes folder


But it took so long to get a answer I found on the net this works

lynx -dump http://www.yourdomain.com/folder name/includes/cron.php

Hi

AFAIK the cron was refactored in way so it could be run via browser. When you start file in as "php -f" it uses a different calls. So it's recommended to run it via any browser simulation way - wget or lynx

Seems to be working with wget. But ii am not receiving any emails for listing checks etc... Only the cron email itself...please see below...

Is there anything else i need to do or check?

AFAIK there is no need for extra configuration. AFAIK there is no need to configure cron in latest version at all! I'm not sure though. I will ask the guys to advise here!

I tried without anything added and the cron keeps recreating the cron.php file on every run...

Example cron.php.1, cron.php.2, cron.php.3 etc. Please see below output....
