creating meta tags for website

my site is linkmates.com....how do i create meta descripton and meta keyword tags for site?...when i go to view source....tags are empty...how do i add?....thru admin panel?...thru index file?....thnnks

Hello cpskins,
Go to Admin Panel » Browse » click icon "Edit" (the top-right corner) » add "Meta-description" and save the changes.
It will be your meta tags for main page of your directory.

Hi Dave,

I'm having the same problem... btw I'm using the latest Pro version.

I went to admin panel>>edit and switched out my meta-description and keywords about 4 days ago, yet my google adsense on my homepage is displaying the same type of adsense ads that are showing up on the eSyndicat Demo. My sites content is about flowers and gardens yet, software and business related google adsense ads are all over the homepage for like 4 days now.

So I deleted all meta keywords and description off site last night, returned this morining and it's still showing software and business related ads on homepage.

Is there another place I should check in the code? I've been looking through all files for like 2 hours this morning...I'm ready to move on to testing my site.
Please send advice...thanks!

Hello MootMop,
Please make sure that you saved changes in Admin Panel » Configuration » Financial Configuration after you replaced our adsense code with yours.

Meta-description and keywords have nothing to do with how the Adsense serves the ads.
Google spiders your page for the actual text - so make sure to insert some text about the flowers and gardens in the "description" field, not meta-description.
If you post a link to your site we may be able to give you a better idea what to do...
