Image or Logo in Listing Detail page

Hy,

I played around with Demo version a little bit - also testing to implement additional functionality - and would like to ask, how the additional Listing
Field 'image' works:

I made a specific Listing Field 'image', let it only show on 'Listing Details'; do not bind it to a category and let all default settings be default.
When I make a new listing, the image field is showing to select an image for upload, but when I view my listing detail page, the image doesn't show up.
Do I have to change any template to make my image work? Can I replace the Thumbshots.com Box by a box showing my image? I also would like to extend the listing entries in some boxes (featured, partner, new listings, and so on) to show up the images or logos of the entries.

How about documentation of how listing fields work?
