Welcome to our support forums!
The plugin in demo version is old. The version for download is fixed.
Also the demo version being set to default every hour and by default the plugin is not installed.
That's why you saw it not installed.
Anyway the demo version is for common insight only.
If you want I can PM you URL to the test server with fixed location plugin, so you can check it.
