adding featured links on the right side of page?

Hello
Im trying to add featured or sponsored links on the right side of the page on the directory. However when i tried adding the links and nothing happens. Please met know on how i can fix this??

1. post your url.
2. make sure you enabled featured links functionality under Admin Panel-> Configuration
