Hi,

I am ver keen to buy your software.

Are there any event plugins available? For eg.

Expo 1 happening on the 31 Jul 2010 > This gets displayed under Events > If the client clicks on that Event > It will see all listings mapped to that event and the directory.

A custom files also appears when creating a listing > Events field > The event can be choosen when creating a listing.

I havent found such information in your demo nor in your plugin sections. If its not available? Can esyndicate write that for me, if yes, what sort of developing costs are we looking at?

Thanks
and greetings from South Africa

Not sure if you're interested, but we are releasing an event plugin by early August that has this function, in addition to automatic content if you should want it.

More info is here:

Hi,

I think thats a great plugin - but tbh, the price puts me off :ooi:
Setup $300.00 (One-time fee)
$70.00 per month

No thanks. It will cost me less to hire a developer to integrate that :)
But thanks for sharing though

The content is indeed the costly part and was developed originally for our network of directory owners who have the events, blog articles, listings and entire setup for their city sites. And this is what you see as of right now in our price, automatic content via an event plugin. But this is for the content, installation and function now. We are working out rates for standalone only.

We have to determine what the database version of the plugin will cost as standalone plugin, without the automatic content. When we release it, however, obviously that price will be available.

The reason the original plugin came with content only and was not stand-alone was because we offered content packages to our network. Something like Eventful does, but without branding. And, we actually set this up for you manually ourselves.

The plugin we are releasing in August will not require any setup from us, if you were to purchase it as standalone and require no content.

Now being a developer myself, getting a fully-functional event plugin that works as a script in itself, but with your directory, plus the unlimited events posted automatically to your database for you, typically a few hundred per week, is well worth it to me. Just by the very fact I get immediate content, and have to do nothing once it is setup. Again this is/was for large traffic sites dealing with hyperlocal directories. So, low-or medium sites might not see the same value.

The link to the site was for your reference only to let you know we will have the plugin, with content. (However, again, we are working on pricing for stand-alone.) We are still doing market research on what the exact price of the automatic plugin will be -- considering it will be automatic and connected directly to the database as a listing "type".

Kelly,

a few hundred dollars per week? Maybe in South Fla, But damn where i am from these people are being pushed to pay 7 dollars a month. And with the economy today, No-one is making money anymore unless you are apple, att and the oil companies.
