Hello,

I am really interested in eSyndicat Pro, it nice script, but I am missing one feature... or maybe I do not know how to enable it...

I would love to have listings divided by region in my directory, ie:

Category listings:
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/Computers/

would by devided not only into sub-categories, but also into regions. If some company is from state Texas, so all companies in cat Computers would be accessible in:
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/Computers/texas/
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/Computers/oklahoma/
...

and if company is from houston, than it would be in:
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/Computers/texas/houston/
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/Computers/texas/dallas/

all these countie and cities would be nice to have searcheble and also explorable from within directory..

in demo version of eSyndicat Pro I have managed to add column "county".. and it also works if you searched listings only from certain county, city etc...

but my question is wheather it is possible to create also URLS etc. based on dividing into states/regions/counties and cities..? I thing that this is one of very cool feature for visitors to find webpage right from their region...

someting what have "big" directories... in our country ie. www.seznam.cz :
http://www.firmy.cz/Auto-moto/Auto-moto-prodejci/Autobazary/Dovoz-ojetych-automobilu-ze-zahranici/reg/kraj-karlovarsky

"kraj-karlovarsky" = county

is there any way how to create it easily?

I assume it is possilble to edit eSyndicat PRO code "by hand" but I think there would be problems with future upgrades to new eSyndicat versions... so I am searching for "official way"

thanks for help
Radim

p.s. hope you understand my english :-)

Hi welcome to our support forums

Well, I think our locations plugin is what you exactly need :) It allows to create locations substructure for listings so your listings will have one param- category and another one - location. You will be able to filter your listings by any of that param.

On version 2.3.02
How can I achieve this?
I would like filter / url like this:
http://www.toppershopper.nl/Toystores/
http://www.toppershopper.nl/Toystores/New-York/

So on top of categorie I want to be able to select the location to filter the results on, /Toystores/New-York/ This will show all Toystores in New York

Can this be done?
Thanks in advance!

You can not use this type of URLs as the software will be confused by the url and it will think you are using category New York. What you can do is to create this categories structure where you have top level categories and then locations as subcategories.

Also Did you check locations plugin?
