Hi - Have checked numerous pages but could not find an answer - Just downloaded the free version - Installed w/o problems - It appears to me from the links that a "folder" is created for each new category I create - I see the URL when I place my mouse over the category, however, the folder was never created in my website so it links to my e404 page - Not sure if any of this is caused by the following few glitches I noticed: 1. There was no cache folder to chmod when I FTP my files up 2. There is no "manage page" link in the free model - so far everything else "seems" to work - Can you help - Click my site here then click Art / Charcoal to see what I am trying to explain

Hi Rio!
Welcome to out support forums!
Actually when creating a category a "folder" is not creating.
It only creates a row in DB table with a link.
The 404 error may occure because of mod_rewrite is unabled on your server.
Please try these:
Go to your admin panel >> Configuration >> General Configuration
apache mod_rewrite module [x]disabled.
Save the changes and check your frontend.

Sorry, I don't really get it what is that "manage page" link?
Could you please explain in more details? Maybe you speak about admin panel?
You can find it here http://www.charcoalfactory.com/eLinks/admin/

Hi Alex and Rio

I think he's talking about the "Manage Pages"
ProVersion demo:
http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/admin/manage-pages.php

As far as I know that isn't available in the free version.

Thank you Alex B and Greg -

I changed "Enable mod_rewrite" from "X-enabled" to "X-disabled" and that did the trick (FYI - It was not listed as "Apache")

Greg is correct concerning "Manage Pages" - I saw this in the demo but wasn't sure if that was part of my problem or not -

I truly do appreciate the quick reply - I wasn't expecting anything B4 Monday -

Wasn't sure if I was going to "purchase" the full scale model or not but you guys have convinced me!

Happy Holidays and THANX Again
