Hi, dangsoftsolutions!
There are at least two reason why it not works. The first - check, installed gd lib for php or not ? And the second - check accuracy of installation imageftbox() function. This should help.

Michael:
Can you elaborate on this?
I have two installations on the same dedicated server. One is 2.0, the other is 2.1.03. The latter install's captcha does not work, while the earlier version does work.
The new install passes the GD test, so why woul dthis not work. Another hack I guess. How about a clear description of the exact compile of GD required to make this work.
I see Google PR no longer works in ver 2.1.03, or do I need to jump through more hoops to get that working?

Ok, I had to figure this out on my own, but I'll be glad to take 14 seconds to share...
If you hace GD installed, just ask your hosting company this:
"Dear hosting support: Please enable FREE TYPE in my GD installation."
Hopefully they won't take GD the wrong way.
That should work.
nice support esyndicate...NOT!

Hello, microlinx!
Sorry for late reply. Did your host company support fix it? If this is so....how we can fix it? If the issue of problem is in your server's configuration?
