Hello,

I accidentally cleared tmp folder, now my website seems to be blank. How the tmp folder affect the whole site? How can restore it without affecting the listing.

Hello angela,

I think you removed all folders in the "tmp" folder. Try to reupload tmp folder and set permission again. In any case please post a result.

Yes, all folder was removed, The way I think "tmp" can be deleted because of cache problem, I didn't expect that it will affect the directory. Now only Top Links and Popular Links are not working, after i add the log folder into tmp folder.
What other folder inside tmp? I have no copy of the software right now.

Your tmp directory should contain the following directories:
cache
log
smartycache

They should have writable (777) permissions

Yes, it's working now, I downloaded eSyndiCat_Pro_v2.1.02.zip and upload tmp folder to my site. Actually, my main problem was about the icon, I replaced the favicon.ico but my new icon doesn't display. Is it a cache problem on our proxy?

Yeah, favicons are cached and it's quite hard to get rid of that cache. When I need to get rid of favicon I open it in browser directly and click CTRL + F5. After that it usually disappears
