Custom pages and HTML code ( inserting images)

I have created new page “friends” and wanted to insert some images in it through admin selecting “view source” . Pasted my HTML code and saved it.. and it looks like junk in browser. Instead of images it has “\” .. Is this a bug?

Update, I just ried HTML editor and it still adds \\ to images and won't display them

It is related to configuration of PHP. There is a parameter "magic_quotes_gpc". You could read about it in more details here: http://php.net/magic_quotes
