The forums have been extremely slow yesterday and today. Is there anything you can do to fix this?

Thanks for checking into this. I run a VB forum and if you are ever looking for a host that is intimately familiar with VB, let me know.

any advice is greatly appreciated. but it's more a problem of server Apache than vB. .I think it's our helpdesk that fetches emails every 20 minutes...

anyhow our hosting company now works on the issue

Hey this is quick compared to what it has been since 7am! I guess they have sorted something out.

No it's better. I was on this morning around 8am (my time) and while waiting for the pages to load, I washed my car, cleaned the apartment, and wrote a novel. :forgive: :]

it seems we found a reason.. it was cron that duplicated our tasks..

now I disabled it from control panel..

tomorrow I will ask that manualer guy to post his draft. we'll see if he's moving in the right direction ;)

its still running very ..... slow for me .

Let me tell you, it is not fun looking through these threads.

If you can find a way to improve speed, it would help a lot.
