Sorry, we have just restarted our Apache :( It's really slow.. It seems VPS is not good for us anymore

Wow what a difference a reboot can make, thanks for that.

I have an issue we migrated to a new host, for some strange reason the categories are not working off the front page.

I have managed to upgrade to the latest version, but I cannot figure out what is wrong with the database, why does it work on one host and not the other.

I have looked at file permissions, php versions, mysql but nada, it seems something is not right. :crazy-be: Is it possible to have a look?

Thanks
LE

hi,
I think you should manually set your ROOT category id equal to 0. It will solve the problem you have. You can do that in phpMyAdmin or run the query in your Manage Database

UPDATE `dir_categories` SET `id`='0' WHERE `title` = 'ROOT';

Use correct prefix

Hello LE!

Yes I could investigate your problem but provide me your FTP and CPanel(or phpMyAdmin) details. You can send me the credentials via PM.

Use correct prefix :1st:

That worked, I would like to learn why that was the case, how does exporting the database encounter the root category id needing to be equal to one?

Thanks

Paid for one year of hosting :) It seems the site now works much faster and better
