I think I may be interested in this as well, if it's possible.
I guess a custom field would have to be created

Thanks Dave, however I cannot access the page.
Maybe because I haven't purchased the pro version yet?
Any chance you could copy the relevant info to this thread?

That mod won't work for the free version, as you need to create a custom field. (only available in ProVersion)

Welcome to the forums cyanide
I think you can achieve the same goal if you create additional field directly in phpMyAdmin. In this case you will have to modify your suggest link and edit link pages also. Just add there a field to input affiliate url. Later you'll just modify your templates - I would advise to add javascript that would use your mask value in status bar instead of real URL with affiliate value.

I have the pro version 2.0*, it was just purchased about three weeks ago.
I've looked for threads pertaining to addition of editing capability but I am worried that this will not be included in updated verions. I have a directory where I will be the only one adding listings, is there an easier way and a way that corrected listings will not be lost when the script is updated?
Also, I have been able to add my affiliate links through modification found in thread, but I don't want the affiliate link to be seen at all. As of now, it shows the clickable link title, description, and then unmasked affiliate link below this. Is there a way not to show the unmasked affiliate link at all.
And, is there a way to mask the affiliate link when hovering over the clickable page title with embedded link?
Thank you.

Hello octour27,
The latest version is 2.1.03.
I've looked for threads pertaining to addition of editing capability but I am worried that this will not be included in updated verions. I have a directory where I will be the only one adding listings, is there an easier way and a way that corrected listings will not be lost when the script is updated?
Most likely it will not be included in the next version. You will need to implement changes (and appropriate modification for the new version) again.
Also, I have been able to add my affiliate links through modification found in thread, but I don't want the affiliate link to be seen at all. As of now, it shows the clickable link title, description, and then unmasked affiliate link below this. Is there a way not to show the unmasked affiliate link at all.
Please check that you completed your modification, because there is code which is intended for hiding this url.
And, is there a way to mask the affiliate link when hovering over the clickable page title with embedded link?
Try it:
