eSyndicat Pro 2 v/s PHPLD3.0.x

Hey guys,
I want to buy the unlimited domain license of eSyndicat.
But could you please give me a feature comparison between your biggest competitor PHPLD 3.0.x & your eSyndicat 2 Pro ??

I am unsure which one is better (cost wise eSyndicat is better coz I am going to launch 10 directories)

So please let me know so that I can decide which one to purchase

Well been using esy for few days and few drawbacks that i see over phpld are as follows:

Inability to mark sites inactive for later approval (suspension doesnt work for some reason).

Unable to Edit Quickly sites submitted (in phpld it takes you back to approval page auto , after you move a site to new category but in esy. you have to click at links to go back to approval page and is time consuming).

Unable to display featured links on main page with details and description (maybe some mod exists for doing that)

Stats only show links and categories, do not show pending/suspended links information (well in phpld you can edit pages and display the same on page plus also there is a mod for it , not sure if esy. has that ).

No distinction available which shows a link is Featured or not other than the colored box. Phpld has header saying Featured Link on the highlighted box, nothing like that in esy.

Overall Esy. is somewhat limited in features than i expected, but good think i like is that you can move sites easily cause the dropdown menu doesnt display subcategories so less clutter. Also you can approve all sites at once by selecting them all (phpld didnt have that ).

Template system kinda cumbersome and not easy to edit unlike phpld, where you need to edit only main file , in esy. only 2 files need to be edited, but header can not include all the side panels of your design if you have them so stuck with header section of site only, requires more editing (atleast i did for getting custom design going, found way easier to edit phpld templates).

Example: Took me like 7 hrs straight to figure out http://www.directory.sbclansite.com and only like 3 hrs for http://www.sbclansite.com (using phpld might change in few days but just an example for now)

Inablity to auto approve featured and sponsored links(not that i know of maybe someone can help me enable that if that feature exists).

I have used and use both scripts.

I do favor Esyndicat for the admin control overall.

The only thing that I like better (and maybe eventually it can be added) - is PHPLD shows payments. This works rather nicely when trying to keep track in your admin panel as opposed to PayPal (I have finally added new emails to track better).

As for featured and sponsored. With version 1.2 I did a lot of mods like this one

yes.. phpld is fully loaded with bugs. You have more luck creating a unique directory with eSyndicat. I used both scripts too. eSyndicat consist of more features higher quality support.
