hello,
what editor should i use to edit .tpl and .php files?
i have tried notepad and dreamweaver,
but they seem to add some extra bytes to the file size.
the orizinal file is lesser than the file saved with these editors.
sometime i have noticed that notepad seem to add some formatted text to these files

please inform me what editor should i use to edit various file types in the software.

Well, I use ConTEXT (http://www.context.cx/) for about 3 years and I think it's a great app (you can edit PHP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, VB +++++ files). :) You can try it.
