Hi, scott atkins!

You could use function "move" in the admin panel of the eSyndiCat.

Hello, scott!

If you just intend to copy your listing from one eSyndicat directory to another eSyndicat directory, just import from admin panel->manage database as sql file your listing. And then, export it in another directory.

Do you intend to export everything or only listing?

Which version of eSyndicat do you use?

Just the listings and version 2.0

Hi, scott atkins!

As Michael Hill told, you could make SQL dump in the your admin panel. If you not sure, I could create dump myself, of course I need your CPanel and Admin panel details, please send me the details and I will try to help you.

Hi,

I'm using Greenleaves. Could please help me.

I want to export the categories from one directory (which uses version 1.2 Greenleaves) to another directory (which uses version Green Leaves 2.1).

I tried going into the version 1.2 directory, manage database, export three files (category, flat structure, sequences), and then I went into the 2.1 directory and went to manage database, import, and proceed to try to import the files. But no categories were imported?

Any ideas?

Sergey it's great that you do this for for those who ask :) but I can see this being rather time consuming for you if everyone who's got the same issue... can i suggest that you put clear step by step instructions on how to do this here? Would be much appreciated :good:

I completely agree with Loren. Serge, please post step by step instructions how to copy listings from one directory to another one (similar version). It would be helpful for everyone plus you'd have less similar requests. I expect to see this detailed instruction today. Thanks in advance

Hello rlall2!

I have imported your database from version pro 1.2 to version pro 2.1. Please check it.

Also I have created a thread with instructions, you could read it here:
http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/about9300.html and in next time you could import database yourself :)
