Hi...

I've been playing around with the free version, and there are quite a few things that bother me about it. But I am guessing that this version is so wildly diabled on purpose, and that the pro version is much better. It seems obvious, since few of the options in the control panel actually work.

But, I was checking out ponying up for the license when I read this...

The 30 day money back guarantee states that refunds are not issued for server failure/issues, lack of features or if your server does not meet the Software Requirements. Refunds are determined on individual circumstances and only issued once our technical staff determine that eSyndiCat PRO is unable to run on your server. Refunds are not available after 1 month from purchase date.

OK, but no one is mentioning security. I would want a refund on my license if the software was found to be insecure and/or easily hacked AND you could not fix the problem within a certain timeframe, as long as I stopped using the software after that timeframe. That is, I have run directories before and have run into some unusual things. I still run quite a few directories.

Anyway, I just wanted to point this out, it seems like a huge concern, at least it is for me, and I am not seing it addressed.

I'm sorry for the late reply.
First of all I should say our Pro version is much more secure. We really spent a lot of time to fix security issues that our previous version had.
I can promise we will refund the money if there will be found another security hole and we will not be able to fix it within the shortest terms. So if you are so lucky to find a security bug in our version - be sure you will get your money back.

:) Yes, that is cool. And as you know, I don't want my money back. :)

I am so sick of installing and constantly updating unsecure software like phpBB and other directories now that it is really getting to me.

I'll have to grab a copy of the paid version this weekend. I am anxious to setup a paid directory with all the eSyndicat bells and whistles, and even more anxious to setup a custome skin for it.
