Problems with "Manage Listing Fields"

There are some problems with the listing-fields, witch I want to add.

1. I made a new listing-field with the Name "Type of accommodation". Then I got the error "Field name should consist of letters and numbers only. Length 2-20."

OK, I removed the blanks, but this error occurs now at every insertion with I make in the Name-field. (for axample: "house", "big house" oder "eag".

2. I made a new listing-field-drop-down-list with the Name "Type_of_lodging". This name is displayed correctly in the admin section, but in the directory on the "Suggest Link"-page there stands only an empty name and an empty list.

3. I received several database-errors and so on.


Sorry, but I have the feeling, that parts of the eSyndiCat are not working properly.

4. I would like to use blanks and brackets in the name of the listing field and 20 chars are not enough.

When you create listing-field, field "name" will specify a name which to be used for the internal purposes of the script and should not comprise blanks. Field "title" is intended for display of the name and can contain blanks and another symbols.

2. I made a new listing-field-drop-down-list with the Name "Type_of_lodging". This name is displayed correctly in the admin section, but in the directory on the "Suggest Link"-page there stands only an empty name and an empty list.
Probably you haven't specified value in the field "title". Please check up it.

4. I would like to use blanks and brackets in the name of the listing field and 20 chars are not enough.
Enter the name with symbols necessary to you in the field "title" its length it isn't limited to 20 symbols.

I have done what you said and I works gernerally. Now I have the problem that the field 3 and 4 of the dropdownlist is deleted every time when I save and I get no error-message.
I think that could be a bug.
