Can the search page be customised?

Looking at buying and setting up this script for a client but before I do can you tell me if the search page can be customised.

My client would require that additional fields be added for each listing and ideally that visitors could use these fields in an advanced search.

For example one of the custom fields may be region, so can you have the region field appear on the search page (or advanced search page) so people can select a region to find all the appropriate links.

I'm sorry for the late reply. Greg, we will have this option in our future versions but now it's not available. If you want we can make it as a custom modification for you.
