I downloaded and installed the free version. I have modified the templates to create an integrated look with the rest of my website and am happy with the results. I have filled the directory with categories and tested out all of that area. In all I have spent a good week playing around and setting everything up and now I am interested in getting the Pro version.

My question. I have searched this website and forums and I cannot find any specific information about upgrading from a free to pro version. Is this a simple process? Will I lose all my template work and category creation work? Would like to upgrade to Pro and not lose all of the past week's work setting the free version up to make sure eSyndiCat was the script I wanted.

Forgive me if somehow I have missed this answer somewhere but I have searhed a couple of hours for it on my own.

You will not lose db, but you will most probably lose templates. Unless you are willing yet again play with them, but I don't know how much difference there is between pro and free templates.
With new version in next few days, I would wait for that one before doing any more work. It would also have brand new templates.

I think the db transfer shall work fine, but it is so long ago that I did one that I don't remember much anymore.
Your best bet is to PM Sergey Ten and he will take care of the db transfer for you.

Welcome to our support forum Gary D Sargeant,

Yes sure, I could convert your database from FREE to PRO version, you could send me SQL dump and I will migrate data as soon as possible.
