:bebebe: I am interested in EsyndiCat and I have some questions about it.

Is there a possibility to vote for Categories? For example if there are Categories like "Ford", "VW" and "Porsche". And I need a vote for all categories, without creating the hole structure again for the vote system.

Is there a possibility to have a picturegallery and a text for each category? For example for the category "Ford" some pictures of Ford-Cars and a description of the "Ford"-brand.

I only want to make the category-structure one time for the directory, the picturegallery and the Votingsystem.

Welcome to our support forum.

You can make your, for example, 'Ford' category - unique, and make any changes with it like adding pictures, some kind of text.

We can implement modification for voting for you, but it would be cost for $150, and this modification would be included in our NEW 2.1 version.

That is an interesting offer, if you would implement the voting for me. Have I understood you rightly that the "voting for categories" will be implemented the normal version, which is for every eSyndiCat-User? Or is it a hack just for me?
I ask this, because if it was only a personal hack, the regular updates (e.g. 2.3, 2.4,...) could have a problems with my hack. I have heard often about problems with individular hacks and updates.

Dominik,

You need to browse your, for example 'Ford', category in 'AdminPanel' and in the top menu click 'unique'.
Then script would said to you, that you need to create index{ID-FORD-category}.tpl file, which you can get after coping index.tpl file. And after that you may make any changes with it, such as insert necessary pictures, text, flash and etc.

About implementation:
We can make a complex discount for you. We can develop the mod for free. Its integration will cost $50 each.

Ok, so there are 2 possibilities:

1. You make the categroy-voting only for me and 1 integration of the mod costs 50 $.
OR
2. I pay you 150 $ and the category-voting will be a part of the 2.1-release and everyone will have this category-voting.

Is the first variant compatible with all future releases (2.2, 2.3,..) or do I need to customize this mod after every release?

There is a bug in 1.2 version for displying any additional pictures.
In 2.0 version this trouble has been fixed.

All guys, who will want to use this mod, at first will pay $50.

Ok, I pay you 50 $ extra for the voting-mod. It should contain the following aspects:

1. Possiblity to vote all categories (Even if there are hundreds)
2. appealing presentation of results (your your existing 5 stars-presentation of vote-results is good)
3. Administation of votes (create vote, delete vote,..)
4. Complete compatibility to all next updates. (I don't want to implement the mod after every update)
