I am new to eSyndiCat :cool-yo: , i wanted to ask, what should i do to show page rank and the thumbnail .

The alexa thumbnail function is now a paid for service from Alexa, you can use thumbshots.org instead.
It's in Configuration -> Link Details Page

1. Thumbs

As redeye noticed the Alexa Thumbnail service is now paid. You have to look for alternate ways. Try ThumbShots.org:

2. PageRank

On some servers PR update is not working (PHP issue, not eSyndiCat).

NOTE: Many people seem to have trouble settin up the cron jobs even with detailed manual available. So if you are interested in the package and will have trouble installing it feel free to contact me.

Can you tell me what to check at my server for Page Rank (php)

Go to Admin Panel >> Configuration >> Cronjob Configuration, set "Cron for links pagerank update" to enabled. Save changes.

NOTE: Turning on this option is not enough. You have to set up cron job in your site control panel.

NOTE 2: Setting up the default cron job may still NOT help in updating PR values. The reason is PHP bug that doesn't allow to calculate checksum correctly on some servers. Checksum, in turn, is necessary to fetch PR value.

If it doesn't work let me know and I will send you the new cron package that has alternative way of caluclating PR -- via Perl module.
