Problem in Index page !!

Hi,

I am using this wonderful script for a while and runs smoothly, two days back in the directory homepage looks like this.. http://www.freebies-search.com/freebies-directory/index.php but all the other links are working (like new links, top links etc) and i checked in the admin panel, there also everything ok, the categories are showingup correcly and the links are ok in the admin panel... except it shows one error on backup page 'backup/ directory is not writable. you can not save to server' i checked the CHMOD of backup and it shows 777 so whats the problem...?

Check up in a database in the table "yourPrefix_categories" belonging "ROOT" categories "id" = 0 if it not so correct it on 0.

thanks for the hardwork. I changed what you told... but the problem remains the same... and you can see a category (Web Design & Development) that is also cannot be removed because it is not showing in the admin panel...
