Hi All,

Need some help understanding Cpanal Visitor count?

Go to Cpanel -> Web/FTP Stats -> Webalizer -> Current Month

And if you click on it and go in

You see visits, Sites etc.

which one of this gives you actual # of visitors to your site?

Second:

if you have an image as pert of the reciprocal link and that image is stored on your site. Each time that image is loaded on the 3rd party site would that count as a visitor to your site?

or only when some one click on that?

Basically on one of my sites, I get adSense displayed for 200 times.
(so, if I have two ads per page it is 100 page views.)

it could be say 40 to 60 users.

When I go to cPanel it tells me say visits 260 pages 900.

I could not really comprehend this!
Appreciate any help in understanding this gray area.

Do you have Awstats in your Web/FTP Stats

In that it shows uniques visitors, and total visitors and pages.
It is a nice stats program.

Awstats is this part of Cpanel or a 3rd party software?

I am kind of looking for something that is built in!

With my Cpanel it is built in. Webalizer used to also be included but they removed it.

AWstatis is really a swiss knife of web stats.
