Hi guys,
Two questions! :)
1) How do I change the From name: on the emails that get sent out from eSyndicat?
2) How do I make it so that when I put in a page break, it doesn't make two. For example, there is not way to go
Kind Regards
John Smith
it always does
Kind Regards

This is in gmail.
Your help is so appreciated.

1. Try to change in Admin Panel-> General Configuration-> Site title

No, that is set as I would like the email to display. Now it doesn't send with a name as all, just the email address.

Check up "Admin Panel-> General Configuration-> Email"

Jay,
to change email From: header to display name as well do the following:
Log into the Admin Panel, click Configuration >> General Configuration. Find Email setting.
Change its value from
name@domain.tld
to
"Firstname Lastname" <name@domain.tld>
That's all.
But don't forget to test it first.

Hi Vincent,
No, it didn't work. It seemed like the " part or the < part broke the form as the email address just stayed the same, but outside of the form field showed parts of that code eg. ".
It then just sent it as normal.
Thanks.

Since I have your credentials (in case they are still valid), may I play with this email thing (and email thing only)?

Hi Vincent,
Sure, but please still use the same address. We have many live submissions each day, and another staff member (who's address is in there) handling those.
Thanks. :)

Arghh...
I had really hard time understanding how Simon implemented config saving mechanism. It seems to be having troubles with saving apostrophes and backslashes.
In the next version all the config will be saved in the database (except db credentials, since storing db access tokens in db is nonsense).
Hope then it will be easy to adjust From: header.
