Is there any way to have an ad specific to a category? Perhaps I am overlooking something obvious. Didn't find anything in the forum.

thanks.

What about AdSense?

One way would be to add this:
{if $category.id eq 3}
some html content for this category only
{/if}

This would show only in category 3. Alls you need to do is change the id# to whatever category id# you wish. But there may be an easier way. :)

I asked for this and Vincent told me that this would be easy to implement in the next verison.

With the implementation of banner system.

If you get any idea please make sure to PM me on this.

Yip to all, very easy, generate html code, copy and paste into your pages..only one thing that urks me, and i have seen it fixed on some sites, is fixing the width, all though a solution give on the forums, mine still doesn't stay the way i want it, but hey i don't mind, spices it up a bit irregular boxes.. It's in javascript and all though i can read it i don't know how to correct it anyway you can see them, on my site, and they have a special on at moment on unlimited licence, for extra $50 so i got unlimted domain. oh and one other on the yahoo style verticle ads, the text css makes all my css on page the same colour and i don't have time to fiddle and find out why that happens, but all in all i am happy with it. Never know might makes some money to pay off all these wonderful directories and advertising software...alas....:wink:

Well, I mean, you could always just place the ad in the category description I suppose.
