Hello,

I'm just wondering how the top link list is counted?

It's not only based on the ratings and not upon the clicks...

An why is this top list so long (showing more than 10 links)

Thanks.

It is suppose to be ordered by RANK by administrator. However my RSS feed is different than what is displayed on screen.

I was able to locate the RSS sql in feed.php, but not the sql to top-links.html

Yes, as billybh noticed it is ordered by rank, which is in turn assigned by admin. All the links are fetched on Top Links page but ordered by rank (and limited to some number per page, by default 10).

Vincent: When you say ordered by "rank," do you mean page rank? Or did you (just in case) mean by "visitor rating"? What is the concept behind top links? I don't undertand this... and what exactly do you mean by "assigned by the admin"? How?

Here is my problem: My top-links page is static. I haven't seen it change at all... in two months. I'm confused because I have links with higher page ranks and few or none with ratings, so... is there a way to recycle these top-links, or select them ourselves?

Thanks

netvaz: it has nothing to do with pagerank. Go to edit screen to particular link, assign it a rating from 0-10, and find out whether it will have any influence on the sorting of Top Links.
