I want to delete a category and move all subcategories down but I dont know how to do that easily.

For example go to my site (www.swaplinks.us) and you see that my only category is television. Basically I want to remove that and move all subcategories of that to root.

Is there an easy fix for this without deleting all my categories?

All you need to do is move all your main subcategories (A&E, Bravo...) to root from admin pannel and than just delete "television" category. All subcategories inside main categories will still remain in place.

Just did that now all my subcategories are gone. Time to reenter 350+ categories again. :(

I know it's useless now but for future: please, backup your data before you do a serious change.
