How to get the sitename to show up instead of only the admin email when the scripts sending emails.

And how to turn off notifications of new links (admin getting email).

I was posting this in modifications, but no one answered me :\

And how to turn off notifications of new links (admin getting email).
In Pro 1.2:

Admin Control Panel | Email Templates | Admin link submission | Email Sending -> set to Disabled

In Pro 1.2:

Admin Control Panel | Email Templates | Admin link submission | Email Sending -> set to Disabled

He missed one step:

Admin Control Panel > Configs > Email Templates > Admin link submission > Email Sending -> set to Disabled

Actually, Christoffer is correct. The option to disable is only for editors, not for admins.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I would also like to disable the e-mail I get for link submissions. Is there no way to disable the Admin notification e-mails that are sent for each submission? If not, maybe someone can come up with a hack to disable it.

snerd don't apologize.

When you create new admin you can specify he will receive messages or not. Change this value you can in a database, the table _admins, field submit_notif. I think 0 enough that he any more didn't receive these messages. :)

Thanks Dave. For others, if you go to dir_admin (or yourprefix_admin) and then browse, you'll see the submit_notif option that you can change from 1 to 0.
