Showing the sub-categories on the main page

Hiyya,

I've been messing and starting to learn how to use eSyndiCat.

Is there a way i can show the sub-category links appear on the main page under the main link catergories. Is it a option in the admin CP?

PS. I've looked for a user guide on eSyndiCat and only found a half effort attempt of one on the wiki section. Is there a comprehensive user guide?

In the Admin panel go to: Configs > Page Navigation and Listings
In the field "Number of subcategories" type whatever you want it to be.

The best way to learn this script is to read this forum topic by topic and try to implement different mods and patches.
As much as I know there is no comprehensive manual yet...

In the admin panel Configs > General Configuration enable "Categories dropdown instead of tree"
