category directory structure not being written

sorry for the post. idon't where else to go for installation issues.

My script doesn't seem to write the catagory directory structure. so when clicking on category links there is a file not found error. everything else seems to be working.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds as if you may have a .htaccess issue. Ensure that one was uploaded with the rest of your files would be suggestion.

You were right. Dreamweaver wasn't showing the .htaccess file so it wasn't getting uploaded. it seems to be working now.

I had the exact same problem and I am also Dreamweaver, perhaps it is an issue with DW that the .htaccess file does not upload. However I've not seen this with other applications I've deployed. So there may be something unique with the way the eSyndicat .htaccess file is set up. Happy that you got it working.
