I have the Link Directory Installed for a few months, I has not helped my page rank at all. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

thanks!
The pagerank has not updated yet, it should be around July for the next update. Just wait, it will come.

It actually seemed to get worse. I am using Arelis for link manager, but that doesnt seem to be working. No one replies back.

Find friendly webmasters in the same field, who are for real - ie. real companies, not seo firms with noname shops. Say you got silver jewelry, they got amber jewelry, so you are not competing. Exchange links with them, but not the links on a links page, but on main page or some other high quality place.
Maybe do it even 3- or 4-way link exchange way, so that Google doesn't notice it's pure link exchange.
That's for starters. If you insist on linkexchange. There are other, more natural, methods, too. Like blogging, writing articles and distributing them, etc.
I think with pure link exchange done via a directory aka links page, you can only get that far, so you got to work on other ways too.

I think the era of Link exchange is over!
Basically search engines change their strategy every now and then.
And in the beginning they liked the idea.
As of now, what I noticed is they do not like this! Or not give much importance as they were giving before!
My site www.dollarbackrealty.com (http://www.dollarbackrealty.com/) has lot of link backs.
And all the sites that link back to me are REALTORS.
But my site PR=0 and when you look in google site:dollarbackrealty.com
You will only find one link that’s all
In Yahoo they have two links.
It is ever changing and we should keep looking for ways to improve as well.
Some times time may tell the answer but for now, work towards getting good links back to your site while researching the options to improve the PR.
