First of all, I made the display_url mod everyone's raving about (for Pro version).

If I use the HTML provided by Commission Junction in the description, I get what I expect with links, banners, etc. Here's what that code looks like:

<a href="http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2039200-7218291" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.jcwhitney.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">
<img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-2039200-7218291" width="468" height="60" alt="Replacement Parts" border="0"></a>

If however, i copy out just the "href" portion of that HTML (i.e. http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-2039200-7218291) and put it in the URL field, the thumbnail I get is some page from Commission Junction.

If I put the true URL of the vendor who I'm an affilliate for (from CJ), like "http://www.jcwhitney.com" (in the URL field) I get the thumbnail I'd expect. BUT, when users click on that link, I don't get any affiliate credit!

I've got http://www.jcwhitney.com in the display_url field and it works as the mod describes.

Any ideas on how to get the thumbnail to work?

Question for you all on this commission junction thing...what's the new deal with the new system of java links? Here's an example of the new code:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.jdoqocy.com/placeholder-841014?target=_top&mouseover=N"></script>

it's got some script action there...here's the explanation from cj:

JavaScript technology is now the default for Commission Junction links. In order to take advantage of future enhancements, we encourage you to incorporate JavaScript links. For a limited time, you may access legacy code for this link by selecting the 'Access Legacy Code' button below.

At this point, it's much further than my level...but it's the direction I'm headed so hopefully you experienced members will find the work around prior to me gettin' to this level... =)

Thank you in advance...

oh yeah...what about linkshare affiliate links?
