I ran in to this site and was wondering if these types of databases could be used in ESyndiCat

Hmm, I checked that site and could not find fields description for that database. I could not see what tables it has and format it uses. I think it's CSV file. Do you have a demo version of that database? If you do I could check if it's possible to import it.

This thread is quite old, but i'm actually looking at the same database company, wondering how esyndicat can be customized to accommodate their data. In particular, i'm looking at a Software Repository.

They provide an Excel sample - http://www.odditysoftware.com/samples/Software_Repository_Sample.XLS
Any thoughts? Thanks. :)

Hi,
As I can understood, such database supports sql-dump. Just create the sql dump of your database, we try to convert it to eSyndicat. Actually, sql-dump is so preferable in comparison with CSV..
