Hi

I have a question...
My directory has been up and running for a few months now, and if i do a search for it on Google it doesn't show up, nor does it even have any page rank yet. If someone could maybe take a quick peek at it and let me know if there's something I'm doing wrong and advise as to how I can fix it, I'd be grateful. Just let me know, and I can PM you the link...

Thank you!
Angels

I'm confused  The web site on your "www" link has a page rank of 4, so I was going to simply suggest you follow the same process with your directory. However I was even further confused   when I noticed the web site has a couple of articles on how to get listed on Google. I realize that I am up late and tired but what am I missing?

Be well,
Tina

PM me the link and I will check.
How long has your directory been up?
Did you acquire some links to it?

The site: command shows 6 pages from the directory listed in Google. MOstly the header pages (new, top, ....), no category pages.

I would suggest:
1] Change the wording of New Links, Top Links, Popular Links
in other words, remove Links word wherever possible, exchange it for example for Websites

2] Get some more links to your directory from your website, your other websites, even third party websites. Preferably deep links, ie. pointing to categories.

As for the pagerank, don't worry, that has just to do with the 3-4 months intervals in which Google is updating the Toolbar PR values.

Thanks Subseo, I'll definately do that. :)
Now to see if I can find the pages listed as well.....

I'm sorry, it's possible I will repeat someone's words here in the forums. I would advise not to use automatic submissions to all search engines tool. I had a bad experience with them.
