Free Vs Pro version and footer links

I have a client who's looking at using this script on his website. I'm new to it, so I'm testing the free version on my site to see if I can implement it and if I can do it within the project budget :-)

I'm having issues myself curently and have a support ticket into my host after reading some of the installation probs on this forum. So this does not auger well for setting it up on his server :(

Anyways, all that's irrelevant at the moment. What the client wants to know is if both versions (free and commercial) have the eSyndiCat copyright in the footer area.

Is this allowed to be removed in either version? and for me a php noob, is it easy to do?

With the Pro version, you are allowed to remove the Powered By tag but you are not allowed to do so with the free version.

Very easy. You just edit a template (.tpl file), which is mostly html.
