I am sorry I have not been here recently. Soon after I got our domain transferred over to the newly completed directory, I noticed that the visits to the site had not been what I expected. I expected about a thousand visits a day, from what the previous owner told me about his traffic pattern, but in fact we got less than one hundred visits during the first whole month from the new domain. I was a little disappointed. I did some advertising, to get our visitors back, because the previous domain owner had told me he had gotten a lot of traffic coming in at one point. The advertising must have been at the wrong venue, because we got less than 50 visits during the weeklong campaign. I was even more dissapointed, and after doing some other word of mouth advertising that also yeilded little results in increased traffic, so I kind of stopped updating it for a while. Then, about a month ago I was able to score an ad on blogs for bush, that resulted in quite a bit of traffic coming in. But it's still not to where we want it. So I would like to make some improvements, and I noticed that a new pro version is out. With that in mind, I tried to install it, and ran into a problem.
I followed the instructions, but I can't finish the install, because the config.inc.php file got currupted, and I don't know how to retrieve it. Did anyone else have this problem, and if so, did you find out how to fix it?
Figured you would be back when the new update came out. That was the last time you stopped by.

I'm sorry. Life gets in the way of internet use sometimes. But I'm gonna try to be back here a lot more now, that I got a personal matter taken care of. I'll be here at least until I leave for boot camp.

Thanks Simon, I'm glad to be back. After reading the install instructions, I think I may have done something in the wrong order. I thought I had to do the regular install, and then perform the steps in the upgrade instructions. So what I did, was upload all the files from the normal package. I guess I accidently overwrote the config.php.inc, thinking I had a good backup, It turns out my backup was corrupted. So now I need to know how to get it working again, without messing everything up.
When I go to my home page, I get the default install page.

I'm sorry but you left your moderator duties without even any notice. All the talk about the instruction manual and you just vanish. No ones that busy. It's called common courtesy. Maybe you'll learn responsibility in the service.
Sorry to the other members this just irks me.

Moderator duties? I'm sorry, but I was not being paid for my duties, I was a volunteer. I was happy to do it, but I happened to have gotten a job at a retail business, and I had to take over as manager after a while, and I was working a lot of hours. And I didn't get any e-mails asking me for help, either. But I guess I could have posted a message that I was going to take a break. So in that regard, I guess I wasn't polite. I'm sorry, and it won't happen again.
