Importing 1.1 Cats & Links Into 1.2

I guess there are some SQL changes in the new version? I've imported my 1.1 cats & links into 3 different 1.1 sites with no problems. But when trying to import my 1.1 cats & links into the new 1.2 version via phpmyadmin, I'm getting this error:

Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /*****/****/public_html/********/classes/DirDb.php on line 111
Unknown column 't21.num_cols' in 'field list'

I can't find the offending column or field list. Is there an easy way to make my 1.1 cats & links to be importable into the new 1.2 version?
