What is the best way to upgrade the pro script?

Should I just upload the files?

Any mysql upgrades, too?

I read the INSTALL doc in Pro 1.2, but I didn't see anything for doing an upgrade.

Can't wait to see 1.2 in operation :)

Thanks :)

yup, would like to know the step for version upgrade especially for noob like me. is it sort of "auto" or i need to do it manually?

I see that there is an option for "patch and upgrade" but no idea how it work.

sincerely
James

I believe Simon will be making a database upgrade to go with the new upgrade.

I'm waiting patiently! I can't do one without the other.

I've did the upgrade for one of my website which I was not live and the migration works.

However, one point to note is that the 'install' folder doesn't need to be copied over too. :)

I think it's impressive you've upgrading the templates at all! A lot of script providiers would just say it's not their problem; the service here is phenomenal! ^_^

Out of curiosity, and chance that any of the free templates will be upgraded to work with 1.2 Pro as well?
I'm hoping the "Iced" template by guaan will be upgraded; I'm still having the problems I post about here (http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1801) trying to get that template to work in 1.2. I'm slowly figuring it out, but I don't think I'm experienced enough as a coder to finish it off yet...
