Simon, give me his IP, I'll contact his ISP.
The threat used by some places is to ban the whole ISP. :D
I asked this before in another forum. Is there a way to associate someone with the actual computer they are using?

thanks pgolovko for your offer :) I think there is no need to do this.
I do appologize for our freaky guy who posted his ideas in our support forums. I think they seems to him so wonderful that he could not stop himself (I hope not herself at least) to post them twice
Let's just forget about this incident and wait for my comments on STOLEN SCRIPT, as I can forget his bad words not frame-up.

I was just shocked.. I asked some persons here to quote what was posted here and they said there mentioned that this script was stolen. that's nonsense. besides, I can even say I have never met completely SEO mod_rewrited script. Some of them just build directories structure in filesystem to have user friendly urls. others use mod_rewrite by ids and their urls look like domain.com/1/3/5, etc
I do not say we have completely different script. Anyway they all should be similar. I can also say I was not the first who decided to create a link exchange script. I'm not sure Ford should tell Chrysler that they stole their idea about 4 wheels, etc. All of you could see how we improved our version from one to another, added features, etc...
I do not understand how people can accuse if they do not even know..

Well Simon, you know this perhaps more than I do. How a company tried to blackmail all other companies in the world by suing them, especially the big ones, when they tried to use the Linux code.
The company claimed that the Linux code has integrated some that were from proprietary scripts that were part of the codes of another program that this greedy company bought, awhile back.
I am not sure if it is still in court.
Since eSyndicat already has a commercial one, and I believe even an Open Source is not immune to possible litigation -- I am sure you are aware of the potential danger of "scripts" (even just a few lines) when they are similar to any prior script.
Some companies might sue you, and even if you are not at fault, the high cost of litigation here in the US can be disastrous.
There is a reverse to this though. It is amazing how Google has become so powerful, that it is trying to circumvent copyright laws through its practices. If you have followed Google attempt to "ditigitize" the whole world knowledge -- you understand what I mean. I am just so disgusted that many of the best universities in the world have signed up into the bandwagon.
Google has started to replace Microsoft as the "bad guy" but Microsoft is not giving up to live up to its reputation, in wanting to dominate the world -- no matter who or what gets hurt, in the process.
Google relented slightly (but not given up) when they were getting bad publicity, and the EU through the French government complained about Google's practices.

Due to where Simon has placed his business, I think he is pretty safe. Moreover, most of the competitors are small players, who themselves have little money to start legal litigations (that's why they might resort to practices like posting on the forum - it's not something what you would expect from someone who has the real power and backing).
Like the proverb here: The barking dog doesn't bite.

Ah, subseo. I believe eSyndicat is only just more than 3-4 month old. Nobody paid Linux the time of the day when Linus Torvald just started it as a hobby script because he was fed up with the bulkiness of the Wiindows system.
The site where you locate your business may temporarily isolate you from litigation but the place(s) where you can do business may be restricted if you are under litigation in another country, especially when you get big.
Right now, the eSyndicat Links Directory is just a small component of the company. Who knows, eSyndicat might become the next Microsoft; at the very least a middle-sized thriving software company.
Remember how Microsoft kept "borrowing" other people's or company's script? It costs them hundreds of millions and sometimes billions, many years later. Here, Microsoft was found to be in actually violation of copyright infringements.
In the case of Linux, they are innocent, but they still have to raise quite a bit of money to counter the legal threat.
Unfortunately these days, innocence does not protect you from the threat of litigation.
There are doctors and hospitals who settle lawsuits, not because they are guilty; costwise they find it cheaper to settle rather than go to a full court trial.

8) I can just say we are really have tons of plans for the future. eSyndiCat is our pilot project - just a blind path to the world of real business where we can compete with real monsters and real products. I do not mean eSyndiCat is a means of competition, as I mentioned above our team is working on another (really great) product and we hope its alpha version will be ready in about 6 months
Thanks for showing great kindness to us
eSyndiCat "CMS" would be my wish.

A 6 month countdown timer Simon? (kidding)

a timer could be a great motivation to make everything ready by dead-line :) when I take a look at your signature and see it I take energy to complete a new version development until it would be 00:00:00
