I agree completely with Radioguy's sentiment in:
http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=442
I wish I have more time these days but I am behind my own projects -- because of personal matters that I have to deal with. I have not even had a chance to look at the new releases of the new eSyndicat.
Anyway, awhile back I suggested that I will help develop the Manual for the eSyndicat Links Directory. echopulse and others also showed interests. I wanted to try the TikiWiki, for this purpose -- so that everyone who wanted to help develop specific sections could help. That is the fastest way that we can help each other -- through collaboration using the "wiki" format.
I even upgraded my website with my existing ISP because some people there promised to help me set up the MultiTiki. Long story short, after more than three months, the "voluntary" help never materialized. So, I am giving up on those promised help over there.
So, I am repeating the request here.
There are a number of programmers here -- who knows more about scripting and all sorts of computer stuff than I do. The issue about the MultiTiki set up is quite simple -- just interpreting a SSH "statement" that is needed. Then, once that is set up, I would need help also in preparing key templates from webdesigners here -- because I do not want the Manual to look like a wiki site.
So, if you want to help resolved the above, you are familiar with scripting and webdesign, and can help, please email me at:

With the above resolved, there are a number of people here already -- echopulse is one of them -- who are also interested in developing the Manual.
We all need it.
Many of the questions we are asking here essentially need not be asked if the Links Directory comes with a good Manual -- with such features like FAQs, stylesheets, etc.
However, we should not expect Simon and the eSyndicat team to bankroll everything -- especially if we only want the free version.
Things will get better for us, only if we help each other, and not just focus on our individual needs.
