Hi all,
I have little bit played around with the submit link page using some JavaScripts (now also some AJAX). The AJAX is used to show a preview on how the link will look like in the directory, very helpfull if you want to sell some extra stuff like feature listings etc. (imagine: click here to see how your link will look as a featured listing for $10 only)

Check it here and let me know how you like it.
(Currently still some problems in IE, please check with Firefox - anyway the better choice ;-))

::::OUTDATED LINK REMOVED::::

Select english
Enter some domain
Start enter the link details english and you will see the preview below.

If something doesn't work with you, please include your browser/version/javascriptsettings

Thanks,
gb

Pretty cool, worked well for me in both FF1.07 and IE.

well in IE it doesn't show me the description, it shows "undefined" instead. not for you?

Oh yeah, you are right, same here, I didn't test descriptions earlier.

Also, I use automatic form filler in Firefox, and it previewed title nicely but not description, for the description it waits for the "field change" action, not even clicking in the field will fill it, in fact clicking description field only causes the title to fill in/transfer to preview, in case it wasn't visible already. (Hope it was understandable.)

Btw. on second thought, automatic form fillers are probably not worth the bother to think about in this case...(?) Very negligible thing probably.

i think so too...

btw. should work now cross browser with all languages and is of course valid xhtml 1.1 ;-) so much for beeing perfectionist - it's a hard life.

greetings,
