I have followed the instructions for installing up through changing permissions, however when I get to step 7 I get an error that says that the page cannot be found. On the permissions I changed the folders not the files inside the folders, should I change those as well? Please help!

Hi Amanda :)

Well lets see if this helps clear things up.

#1 Just chmod the backup folder itself (it has no contents in it) (chmod 777)
#2 Just chmod the tmp folder itself (it has no contents) (chmod 777)
#3 Open the includes folder and chmod the config.inc.php file only (chmod 777)
#4 Open the language folder inside you'll see English.php (chmod that file 777)
#5 Open the templates folder, then the eThird folder, then the css folder. There you'll see style.css (chmod that 777)

For complete install directions (if you haven't already) look here:
http://www.esyndicat.com/docs/install.html

Hope that helps.

RadioGuy already gave you an advise and we can offer free installation for you :) for this we just need your ftp credentials and database info
