Hi,
I would like to request the thread marking type be changed in the forums. It is very difficult for me (and I am sure you too) to know what threads I have read and what threads I have not read with the current marking type. When you spend time reading and replying to messages, when you return to the thread list, all threads appear to have been read - even though you know you have not read them all.
I have a vBulletin forum and know this can be changed very easy. Please consider the change. You can find the options by following these directions:
Go to adminCP > vBulletin Options > General Settings.
Find the section, "Thread/Forum Read Marking Type".
Put a mark in the option, "Database (automatic forum marking)".
You have an option that doesn't work and after a few minutes, all forums and threads are marked read, but I have not read them all. The above option will allow you to see all threads and forums you have not finished reading. This is especially good for support issues to make sure you have answered, or at least read, all the cries for help. :D
Thank you for considering my suggestion.
