Hello all,
We have added 4 new plugins to downloads area:
#1
Tell A Friend plugin.
This plugin allows your visitors to send an email to their friends about that resource.
#2
Display URLs plugin.
Displays spurious urls instead of the real links urls.
#3
Coupons plugin.
Coupons functionality.
Regarding this thread:
http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9101&highlight=coupons
#4
Contact Member plugin.
The Contact Member allows you to contact the listing owner.

Is there anywhere we list all the plugin and what they do one by one? And maybe make that sticky

Hello,
@Yellowberryhosting
We're preparing such kind of documentation and it will be accessible in the shortest possible time.
@Simon
When you install plugin, will be added one more field(display_url) to each listing in your directory. If this field contains value (another url) for some listing, the script will change real url(specified in the "url" field) of the listing everywhere in the frontend of your directory, but clicking on that url will pass you to a page with the real url.

Display URLs plugin will work correctly only with the 2.2 final version. If you use one of the 2.2RC versions, you can try this fix:
***Open templates/yourTemplate/listing-display.tpl and add the following line on the top of the file***
{esynHooker name="beforeListingDisplay"}
***it should be before:***
{if $listing.sponsored}
{include file="sponsored-listing-display.tpl"}
{elseif $listing.partner}
{include file="partner-listing-display.tpl"}
{elseif $listing.featured}
{include file="featured-listing-display.tpl"}
{else}
{include file="regular-listing-display.tpl"}
{/if}
***save file***
One more thing:
If there's not title for "linking url' field in your admin panel, you need to add this phrase:
key: field_display_url
value: Display url
via Language Manager.

Do we have a timeline for release for the 2.2 final version yet?

Thank you so much for the Display URL plugin. :)
I think I'm going to wait for the final release of 2.2 as things are starting to get a bit messy. As with the previous poster, is there a date where 2.2 stable will be released?
Debra.

The best way to get all info about problems in one plug in is Make a sticky post for each plug in and write about it then one post for problems and then we done.
Now i can not find any info about anything it is to messy

This is very helpful, Simon. Especially for us that are new at creating directories and working with esyndicat. Can't wait to see the final version!

Yes, the final version has been released. You can find it in your downloads area - 2.2.00 [Stable] version.
Thanks for suggestions about our plugins section.

I have just installed Display URLs v1.0 and I am running the latest version eSyndiCat 2.2.00.
The plug-in works fine for the listing details page only, not for featured listings, general listings page etc.
Am I missing something or are there more changes required after all?
Thanks to advise.

About display plugin:
1. If you use display url tell-a-friend should also use display url instead of link url
2. Pagerank does not work anymore because pagerank should be of the display url instead of the link url. I work with affiliate url's and I want of course pagerank not of affiliate url but of the display url

Perhaps it will be implemented in the next version of the plugin ;).
